SOFTONE Group acquires REGATE, strengthening its position in the enterprise mobility market


SOFTONE Group, a leading group of business software companies, announces the acquisition of 100% of REGATE’s share capital, a company that specializes in enterprise mobility solutions.

This investment expands the portfolio of SOFTONE’s solutions, significantly strengthening its position in the enterprise mobility market, with REGATE being one of the leading companies in the EM market. REGATE holds a significant client base of prominent companies in Greece and in international markets. Its product portfolio includes a series of business mobility solutions such as sales force automation, EXVAN, field marketing and merchandising, asset tracking and management, field sales management, field service management, medical sales management, proof of delivery, etc.

SOFTONE Group acquires all shares of REGATE, while the company will continue to operate autonomously. Mr. Markatatos will continue to serve as CEO of REGATE and the company’s human resources will be significantly strengthened. The short-term plans include the expansion of REGATE’s existing solutions portfolio as well as the development of new mobile applications, utilizing its in depth know-how and expertise in the enterprise mobility market. In addition, synergies will be explored with the rest companies of the Group, as well as the wide network of its 600+ partners in 4 countries (Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania).
